We offer personalised preparation for those entering or working in school leadership internationally. At LSC Education we take as much care with our candidates as we do with our client schools. This is why we offer the LSC Education Careers Coaching Service, a premium and confidential personalised career coaching service which focuses on personal coaching.

It is individually designed to respond to the specific needs and circumstances of each candidate and is conducted on a one-to-one basis. We want to help educational leaders to take their next step in international school leadership, and to do so with confidence.

This bespoke, confidential programme is built around action-planning and personal coaching, and includes CV reviews, interview practice and targeted feedback. Each programme is built around individual's needs and could be as short as 2-3 contact hours, or more extended support over a period of months.

Why should you consider executive coaching?

Coaching offers you a highly confidential, challenging and experienced space where you can explore how to develop your skills as a leader. A great coach will listen to you with curiosity and objectivity, be honest and straightforward in asking you questions, and will help you find clarity about your objectives. They will challenge you to help ensure that you have real learning, help you to overcome obstacles, making empowering requests for action and hold you accountable for this action.  In the coaching relationship, the coach plays the role of a facilitator of change, but it is your responsibility to enact or bring about the change.

Coaching is an investment in your present and future career as a school leader.

What does LSC offer individuals?

Annual executive leadership coaching contract

Features:

  • Highly experienced executive coaching
  • Bespoke programme designed around client’s needs
  • Typically 10 x 1 hour of face-to-face Skype sessions (roughly one per month)
  • Access to the coach as a critical friend as required
  • Additional psychometric tests (at cost) if desired

Career coaching

Features:

  • Highly experienced career coaching
  • Flexible and intense programme, typically over 3-4 months, designed around client’s needs
  • Typically 2-3 face-to-face Skype sessions at the start of and during the career coaching process, to include, as required:
    • exploration of the right career direction
    • guidance on good CV and letter writing
    • interview advice and practice
    • Regular review and guidance on job applications, including detailed comments on CVs and  letters of application, and guidance on presentation prior to interviews
    • Additional psychometric tests (at cost) if desired
    • Option to extend the process by a further 3-4 months, and/or move to an annual executive coaching contract

Bespoke coaching sessions

While we don’t recommend one-off coaching sessions, there are times when it can be useful for leaders to have access to high-quality coaching. For this, we would suggest a designated number of coaching hours.

Features:

  • Highly experienced career or leadership coaching
  • Additional psychometric tests (at cost) if desired
  • Option to extend the process by a further few sessions, and/or move to an annual executive coaching contract
