Dr Dean Dudley CF, GAICD

Dean is a globally recognised and highly ranked scholar–practitioner in education, curriculum, and assessment. Over a career spanning more than two decades in schools, universities, government, and intergovernmental organisations, he has become one of the world’s leading authorities in school health and student learning. Ranked in the top 0.5% of education scholars worldwide, Dean has advised UNESCO, UNESCO/International Bureau of Education, Commonwealth Secretariat, and the Australian, New Zealand, and Canadian Governments, among others, on curriculum reform, teacher education, and the role of education in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. He is a 2012 Churchill Fellow and has held visiting and honorary appointments at leading institutions including the University of Oxford, Stanford University, University of Toronto, University of Sydney, and the University of Queensland. A seasoned board member and company director, Dean also serves at senior levels within some of Australia’s most recognised not-for-profit organisations. Widely published, with over 80 peer-reviewed articles and 11 books, Dean is also a highly sought-after keynote speaker and trusted advisor to schools and educational systems globally. He brings deep expertise in evidence-informed pedagogy, teacher professional development, and organisational change, underpinned by a strong record of leadership in both academic and community contexts.
