THINK Global School is a travelling high school where students live and learn in four countries each year, making unforgettable connections between their studies and the world around them.
The school’s innovative Changemaker Curriculum gives students agency over their education through a combination of real-world exploration, skills mastery, and project-based learning.
By living and learning in four different countries each year, students connect their education to their environment in ways they never thought possible: by studying biology in four diverse environments a year, reading authors in their native lands, or discussing philosophy where the very concept of philosophy was born. If they are lean-forward learners who never stop asking questions, this is their chance to soar.
Imagine reading Homer as you trace Odysseus’ journey through Greece or learning data modeling by cataloging the sea life you observe while scuba diving off the Great Barrier Reef. THINK Global School’s rigorous Changemaker Curriculum combines travel with project-based learning, making for a one-of-a-kind education that nurtures all areas of teenage development.
A THINK Global School education combines an academically rigorous project-based learning curriculum, a competitive 4:1 student/faculty ratio, student-driven and technology-forward teaching philosophies, and integrated service learning to create a 360º educational experience that’s never limited to the classroom. Here, students not only become an exceptional college candidate but also a true game-changer: someone who understands how the world works and has the courage and compassion to make it a better place.
At THINK Global School, we’ve based our curriculum on the most effective educational models from around the world. We’re inspired by great pedagogical thinkers including Kurt Hahn, John Dewey, Sir Ken Robinson, Paulo Friere, Sugata Mitra, Reggio Emilia, John Holt, John Taylor Gotto, and Daniel Pink. Although they each bring different viewpoints to the table, their philosophies all boil down to the same idea: teach to individual students, giving them the tools and environments they need to succeed.
The Board of THINK Global School is currently searching for a Director of Business Operations. The post will be based in the UK and although a central office is in London, the post-holder can work remotely from home, and therefore location is flexible. The Director of Business Operations will report directly to the Principal and Board of Directors and will be responsible for the administrative, accounting and finance operations of the traveling school. They will provide support and coordinate regular team meetings with IT, Marketing, HR and the Travel Specialist, as well as working with Admissions team, specifically with the scholarship and tuition process. They will also work with and provide support to the Principal, educators and third party vendors.
