Principal

Royat Al-Ebtikar International School is a new, not-for-profit school founded by the Al Murjan Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The school was created with the vision to be a truly inclusive school, educating children of different abilities together in a safe, happy and innovative environment. The school opened, initially on a trial basis, three years ago and currently has fifteen children, most of whom are aged between 4 and 7 years old. Due to the school’s exciting vision and ethos of being a non-selective, fully inclusive school, the owners have been authorised and licenced by the Ministry of Education to grow the school to a capacity of 500 students, up to Grade 12.  

The school follows the Cambridge International primary curriculum, providing their young learners with a broad and balanced education, as well as incorporating the local curriculum requirements including Arabic and Islamic Education.

The school’s Board are seeking to appoint an experienced international leader as Principal to grow and develop the school in line with their vision and mission. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of successful leadership in international schools, preferably in the Middle East and ideally of founding and developing a new school. They will have outstanding interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to engage and inspire the school community and staff.
