Downe House Riyadh is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s first premium, British all-girls’ school. Through its partnership with Downe House in the UK, Downe House Riyadh is proud to bring the first UK premium girls’ school influenced by one hundred and fifteen years of world-class British education, to Riyadh. Girls aged 3 to 18, along with boys up to Year 4, will have the opportunity to be inspired and challenged as they grow into confident young people preparing to play their part in the world.

Located towards the north of Riyadh in the prominent neighbourhood of Aqeeq, Downe House Riyadh opened in September 2022 and offers a British curriculum based on the tradition and expertise from Downe House UK. The curriculum will be sensitively adapted for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ensuring pupils will excel in Arabic language and Islamic Studies, alongside other subjects.

Everything at Downe House Riyadh is designed to encourage, stimulate and inspire the pupils. The school promotes genuine personal enquiry and intellectual appetite to nurture individual talents and interests beyond the academic and to foster a culture of inclusivity and respect for others.
