Interim Deputy Head/Head of High School

The International School of Nice originated as the American International School (AIS) in 1977, evolving into the International School of Nice in 1990. Idyllically situated in multicultural Nice, the capital of France’s Alpes-Maritimes region, this independent school with instruction in English was founded for globally mobile families aspiring to international education on the Côte d’Azur.

Once the school was renamed ISN, the International Baccalaureate organisation authorised the implementation of the Diploma Programme. In the same year, the school was accredited by the Middle States Association and the Council of International Schools, awarded accreditation again in 2000 and 2011. In 2012, the school advanced as a recognised IB World School providing the Primary Years Programme. Half a decade later, the International School of Nice celebrated 40 years of excellence.

The families that make up the International School of Nice come from all over the world. We celebrate this great richness of different cultures and we are very proud that we are able to offer a friendly, stable and caring community for all our learners.

The core purpose of the Interim Deputy Head/Head of High School is to provide professional leadership in the management of the school. This will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the school’s work. The Deputy Head /Head of High School must play a lead role in establishing a culture that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations for all pupils.
