Head of High School

We are currently supporting the Board of an international school in the South of France with the recruitment of a Head of High School, to lead the High School (Grades 9-12) which follows the IGCSE curriculum and IB Diploma Programme. The role will commence in August 2025.  The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking, transformative leader, who can shape a student experience that blends innovation, creativity, and global awareness.  The ability to speak both English and French will be essential. The required experience and qualities for the successful candidate will be as follows:

• Suitably qualified with relevant degree and teaching qualification
• A proven track record in senior leadership positions
• Excellent knowledge of the IB curriculum and philosophy
• Fluency in English and the ability to speak French.
• Ability to live and work in France
• A visionary mindset with a passion for pushing the boundaries of education, blending tradition with innovation.
• A track record of innovation in educational leadership, curriculum design, and technology integration.
• Experience in using emerging technologies like AI, VR, and adaptive learning platforms to transform education.
• Strong background in social entrepreneurship, sustainability, or global citizenship initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a community of students, faculty, parents, and global partners.
