Arabic School Advisor - Leadership support

Riyadh Schools
Saudi Arabia

3-18 years | Coeducational | Day | US Common Core Curriculum

Riyadh Schools’ mission is to prepare students intellectually, morally and spiritually to pursue their aspirations and contribute to society. Their vision is to develop thoughtful learners and passionate leaders who will serve their society.

Paramount to the school is that of reinforcing Islamic values and Saudi culture in the global world. They believe that every student can learn and improve, and it is the school’s responsibility to act in ways to make that happen. They aim to be a caring, listening, mutually supportive community which promotes the values of truth and respect. For Riyadh Schools, student learning and student well-being are fundamental obligations to them, all provided within a safe and nurturing physical, social and intellectual environment.

Riyadh Schools has two streams, a National Stream, and an International Stream. In the international stream, the Schools adopt the international schools’ curriculums in national subjects (Arabic Language, Islamic Education, Social Studies) from grades 1-12. In addition to that, the Schools also adopt the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and English Language and math curriculums according to California Core Standards. Riyadh Schools also applies the 21st century skills rubrics, as these are common skills that will be needed for the future labour market. The international stream is being accredited by AdvancED.

LSC Education is supporting Riyadh Schools to appoint an Arabic School Advisor, who is an experienced school leader, with strengths in training and developing local educators. Leaders with experience of the US Common Core, as well as of Arabic and Islamic subjects are especially encouraged to apply.
