British International School Cairo

The British International School, Cairo (BISC) is a selective, co-educational, academic day school with approximately 1,000 pupils aged 3-18 and is committed to excellence in all its activities in and out of the classroom. It aims to be a first-class school in which children are prepared to go on to the best local, regional and international universities and institutions of higher education and to positions of leadership in all walks of life. The School was established in 1976 to serve the educational needs of expatriate children in Cairo. Over time it has built its reputation on the basis of its academic record and the breadth of its educational programmes. Now one of the leading schools in the Middle East, BISC achieves excellent academic results and is an Accredited Member of COBIS and IAPS. It is also in membership of the BSME.

LSC were pleased to be selected to lead the search and selection of a Head of Senior School for BISC, which resulted in the successful appointment of an experienced secondary leader from Kuwait. Following the outcome of this process, the Board approached LSC to lead the recruitment of a new Principal for the school, and after a global search and a thorough interview and assessment process, the Board were pleased to have a fully appointable shortlist of candidates and made an excellent appointment of a highly experienced international Principal.
