Founded in 1985, Greensprings School is one of the top schools in Nigeria, providing an international education predominantly to Nigerian students. Greensprings has three campuses in Lagos, one located in Anthony Village, one in Ikoyi and one on the Lekki Peninsula, with a combined student population of over 2,200 pupils and is growing. It also has a newly opened school for children with Special Education Needs and a training college. The school has outstanding facilities and an experienced, committed staff. Anthony campus has a Pre-School, an Elementary School and a Secondary School, and the Lekki campus has a Sixth Form. The curricula are based on the Montessori programme, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) taking into account the British National Primary Framework, the CIE IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. The school is CITA Accredited and is an IB World School. It is a member of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA), the Association of International School Educators of Nigeria (AIPEN) and the Nigerian International Schools Association (NISA).

The Executive Director, Mrs Lai Koiki, is seeking to recruit an outstanding new Head of School to lead the operations of the Anthony Campus, with its current roll of 900 students. This post will entail line-managing the Principals of the Pre-school, Elementary, Secondary School and Boarding Principal on this campus. The Head of School reports directly to the Director of Education. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced educational leader who is inspired by the challenge of leading and developing one of Nigeria’s most successful schools, with the opportunity to be innovative and make a real difference. 

Along with good character, a strong moral compass, flexibility and resilience, you will bring to the School a strong educational track record, a strategic perspective and a thorough understanding of best practice in teaching and learning. You will be a team player, a good communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with some or all of the curricula mentioned above would be beneficial. Experience of teaching in international settings, preferably in a developing country would also be beneficial.
