It is a vibrant and popular co-educational school, voted best in England (Tatler), where students learn to be leaders for life. The College has celebrated over 150 years of commitment to providing the highest possible standards of education and plans to continue to push the boundaries as it strives for further excellence in all areas in the 21st century.

LSC Education has been proud to support Wellington College International (WCI) with their growth and development through the recruitment of world-class school leaders. WCI selected LSC Education to lead the search and selection process to recruit a Master for each of their schools in China; Wellington College International Tianjin and Wellington College International Shanghai. LSC has also recruited Founding Masters for two new schools, due to launch in September 2018: Wellington College Bilingual Hangzhou (China) and Wellington College International Bangkok (Thailand). Our global searches and thorough interview and selection processes each led to successful appointments of outstanding leaders.



The Ministry of Education in Brunei Darussalam operates over 150 primary and secondary schools nationwide and has embarked on a mission to improve the quality of education on offer to its young people. In 2007, His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei launched the new education system and the Government formulated a long-term development framework, the National Vision 2035. Brunei’s primary and secondary schools are improving, but it is recognised that further impetus is needed. Local school leaders and teachers across the country need support and guidance in improving school performance. Teaching and learning in many schools is inadequate and public examination results have not shown satisfactory improvement over recent years.

The Ministry of Education decided to appoint five highly experienced and successful international Headteachers to lead a select group of specially chosen schools around Brunei. The expectation was that these Headteachers will have the capability to not only create substantial change and improvement to the schools that they will lead, but also, working closely with the Ministry, they will mentor, coach and professionally develop other school leaders and teachers nationally to improve educational standards throughout Brunei.

LSC was appointed by the Ministry of Education to support with the process of attracting and recruiting these five international school leaders. Following an extensive search, and an intensive interview process, senior educationalists were selected and appointed from a range of leadership posts in China, UAE, UK, and Europe.

The International Schools Partnership (ISP) is a growing family of schools, which currently owns a number of schools in the Gulf (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar), Cambridge International School in the UK and the Laude group of seven schools in Spain. The company has plans in process to acquire a number of further schools around the world over the coming years and indeed many acquisitions are now close to completion. ISP has a clear aim to put the child’s learning at the core of everything it does. The group’s core purpose is defined as: having the passion for learning that leads to each child’s success in the classroom and beyond; inspiring each curious, creative and confident child to flourish; equipping each child with the knowledge, skills and motivation to succeed; and nurturing each child to develop the character and values to thrive in a challenging world.

As ISP schools have been growing, the group recognised the need to manage an ongoing process of attracting and recruiting leaders, both at senior management whole school leadership level with the aim of either adding further capacity to existing leadership teams, replacing departing leadership or appointing founding leadership for new schools.

LSC have been pleased to support ISP on an ongoing basis with their search of selection of these different levels and types of leaders, for their schools in Spain and the Gulf. Additionally, we have recruited regional network-level leaders, specialists in teaching and learning, as well as marketing, admissions and communications.   



Repton School, Dubai was the first UK partnership school in the Middle East. It is a sister school of Repton UK and the partnership between the two schools is very strong. Repton, Dubai opened in 2007, and currently educates 2,300 pupils aged 3-18. Welcoming families from all nationalities (currently 73 different nationalities), the school offers the very best in British education, within the context of an international boarding community, epitomised by the school’s philosophy of ‘the best for every child’. Repton has state-of-the-art facilities and amenities and is situated on a spacious campus of 1.3million sq. ft, making it the largest school in the region. Repton’s pupils benefit from an international curriculum based on the British independent and national curricula. Repton’s clear aim and purpose is to provide the best teaching and learning environment in which all pupils will achieve their very best academically, physically and socially.

Repton School, Dubai is owned and operated by Evolvence Knowledge Investments (EKI), the education platform of the Evolvence Group. EKI focuses on establishing private schools offering a variety of curricula in the GCC region. Its other schools include Repton School Abu Dhabi, Foremarke Hall prep school in Dubai, Dovecote nurseries in Dubai and Humpty Dumpty nurseries in Abu Dhabi.

LSC was delighted to be appointed by Repton International Schools and EKI to lead the search and selection of their new Headmaster. A global search produced an outstanding shortlist of top international Heads, and after an intense and thorough interview process, the school’s new Head was appointed from a leading independent school in the UK.

LSC has since support Repton International Schools with the appointment of a Founding Head for its new school due to be launched in Bangalore, India in September 2018, which will be one of the first British independent schools in India. This will be a coeducational day and boarding school for up to 2,500 pupils.

Our working partnership continues with Repton and EKI, and LSC has now also recruited a Head of Secondary for Repton School Dubai and a Founding Head of Secondary for Repton School Abu Dhabi.



The British International School, Cairo (BISC) is a selective, co-educational, academic day school with approximately 1,000 pupils aged 3-18 and is committed to excellence in all its activities in and out of the classroom. It aims to be a first-class school in which children are prepared to go on to the best local, regional and international universities and institutions of higher education and to positions of leadership in all walks of life. The School was established in 1976 to serve the educational needs of expatriate children in Cairo. Over time it has built its reputation on the basis of its academic record and the breadth of its educational programmes. Now one of the leading schools in the Middle East, BISC achieves excellent academic results and is an Accredited Member of COBIS and IAPS. It is also in membership of the BSME.

LSC were pleased to be selected to lead the search and selection of a Head of Senior School for BISC, which resulted in the successful appointment of an experienced secondary leader from Kuwait. Following the outcome of this process, the Board approached LSC to lead the recruitment of a new Principal for the school, and after a global search and a thorough interview and assessment process, the Board were pleased to have a fully appointable shortlist of candidates and made an excellent appointment of a highly experienced international Principal.
